Goals and Values
SEMEX-BHP

The founder of the company was Mieczysław Sierzan, one of the best OHS specialists in Poland, and the author of more than 50 publications on OHS, focusing on legal regulations and workplace safety. He was also a long-time academic lecturer and a passionate expert.

The history of the OHS Service and Technical Consulting Company “SEMEX” and the training center “ERGOS” spans over 50 years. Our operations in the field of OHS training began in the 1970s when the “ERGOS” training center operated under the Federation of Energy Construction Trade Unions in Warsaw, located at 4/6 Mokotowska Street.

Today, SEMEX is a dynamically developing company with a nationwide reach and a portfolio of clients from various industries, including construction, energy, public and local government entities, IT companies, trade, manufacturing, services, schools, mines, shipyards, and many more.

We are eager to take on new challenges and help our clients fulfill their legal OHS obligations, as well as find the perfect balance between compliance with regulations and effective market performance.

Currently, the SEMEX Group is led by Kamil Sierzan, who is not only a Chief OHS Specialist and academic lecturer but also an active lawyer specializing in labor law and workplace accidents. Our entire team consists of individuals who are fully dedicated to their passion for promoting occupational health and safety culture.

Our main office is in Warsaw, but we also have a network of partner offices in every region, enabling us to provide comprehensive services to entities across the country.

Thanks to employing only qualified specialists with a minimum of 5 years of experience, whose knowledge and skills we thoroughly verify, we can guarantee the highest quality of our services.

Our offer mainly includes ongoing OHS services for companies, OHS training, fire safety services, and legal and technical consulting in the field of labor law and human resources. Over the course of more than 50 years in the market, we have built a reputation as a trustworthy and fully professional company.

Our core values remain: flexibility, proactivity, effectiveness, and commitment.
